Having been brought up as a Christian, that is to say my non church going parents sent me to Sunday school, and have friends who are Spiritualists, Catholics and Jews, along with making the effort to understand where they are coming from and why they find the need to believe as they do. I have not found any evidence or reason to lead me to think any blind belief of faith in spiritual or supernatural God could ever exist.
It is, possibly, difficult for some people to come to terms with the acceptance that the age old belief that life as we live it just stops, but looking at the way the world has evolved how can there be any other feasible explanation. We are all capable of inventing stories that give our imagination room to run wild but if we are honest with ourselves an absolute beginning and final end can be the only realistic truth.
